How to use the World-Check Archive

Those of you who are relatively new to "From a Different Angle" may not be aware of its usefulness as a financial crime research tool. If you have never accessed the World-Check Archive, and want to know how to quickly and efficiently search for specific issues, read on.
On the World-Check home page (the one you read "From a Different Angle" on) look at the upper right-hand corner. There you will see a blank box. Entering any name or subject, and clicking on "search", or hitting enter on your keyboard, will give you access to articles containing your search term in the Archive.
What will you find in in the Archive?
In short, if you are looking for specific information on either names or topics, use the Search feature to locate that information. For further information on searching the Archive, feel free to send your questions to me at: kr@world-check.com .
What will you find in in the Archive?
- All the 1100 "From a Different Angle" articles that have appeared on World-Check, going back to June 2006. Many of the names and entities in the articles feature the subject's World-Check UID, facilitating your search in the World-Check database. Remember, the full and correct legal name of an individual or corporate entity may vary from the name you see in newspaper or magazine articles, so utilise the UID whenever possible, to assure that you have a positive outcome to your search.
- All the news feeds on various financial crime from the "Breaking News" column. This information, which is pue news, may be used to supplement the commentary & analysis you have read in an article in "From a Dufferent Angle".
- Information contained in articles appearing in the World-Check IBriefs and TerrorismBriefs. This is another way to obtain the UID.
- All the installments of World-Check's continuing series, " Confessions of a Money Launderer," where money laundering tachniques are discused in detail.
- Other places on the World-Check website where yout search terms appear.
