Venezuela to be designated as a State Sponsor of Terrorism
10 March 2008

As we reported first, on 26 February, in our exclusive article, " US to go after Billions in Laundered Venezuelan Money," sources in the White House have confirmed that its attorneys have been asked to research the procedures necessary to designate the Republic of Venezuela as a State Sponsor of Terrorism. The overwhelming evidence obtained on 1 March, when computers belonging to senior FARC leaders were seized by the Colombian Army, will be verified, according to the source. Such a designation could result in the collapse of the Chavez government, the result will be a denial of access by Venezuelan banks to the US financial structure.

All pending financial commerce with Venezuelan financial institutions and businesses must urgently be examined to ascertain whether the imposition of such a designation will cause loss of funds, loss of client assets, termination of payments due, and otyher potential financial loss.
