DIFFERENT ANGLE by Kenneth Rijock
INTERPOL, the international police association, has released a report which verifies that the computer files of FARC second-in-command Raul Reyes, seized by the Armed Forces of Colombia in a military engagement, have not been altered. The document, which is 103 pages long, describes in detail the scientific investigative methods used, and the conclusions reached and refutes Venezuela's claim that the material was fabricated by Colombia. The computers files show that senior leaders of both Venezuela and Ecuador have a close relationship of mutual support and cooperation with the FARC, which has been designated a global terrorist organisation by the UN, US and the EU. Will the damning evidence against Venezuela, now validated by experts, accelerate OFAC sanctions against Venezuela?
