US to require online registration for Visa-exempt travellers
3 June 2008
Readers contemplating business travel to the US please note that the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has advised that, beginning 12 January, travelers from "Visa Waiver" countries will be required to register online prior to departure for America. Presently, nationals from 27 countries may enter the US without a visa. The authorisations will be valid for two years, or until the passport expires, whichever is less.
