World-Check will introduce 3 additional characters to the E/I column of the data files. The E/I field will now comprise of the following character set: I U M F E

I     =    Individual – Gender Unknown – Profile not reviewed since introduction of new character set
U    =    Unknown – Gender Unknown – Profile reviewed since introduction of new character set
M    =    Male – Individual – Gender Known – Positive ID
F     =    Female – Individual – Gender Known – Positive ID
E     =    Entity – No change to context

When a profile previously designated as an Individual (I) is reviewed and is found to be of an unknown nature, it will be re-assigned as Unknown (U). This implies that over time the Individual (I) category will disappear and be replaced by Unknown (U).

World-Check would like to alert our users to the fact that we will be removing the IDAC (Investment Dealers Association of Canada) keyword from profiles and relacing this with a new keyword IIROC (Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada). This replacement will take place of a period of time, so please update your records accordingly.
